Retinal imaging has rapidly become one of the most transformative frontiers in vitreoretinal practice. From OCT and OCT-angiography to wide-field fundus photography, fundus autofluorescence, and the growing role of AI-assisted image interpretation, imaging technology is reshaping how vitreoretinal specialists diagnose, monitor, and manage complex retinal disease. As these tools evolve rapidly, clinicians must continually update their skills to translate imaging innovations into sharper diagnoses and better patient outcomes.
